Interlaken

Lies between Lake Thun and Lake Brienz surrounded  by  the Bernese Alps, Interlaken is a convenient base for exploring the Jungfraujoch and Bernese Oberland. The three mountain ranges Jungfrau, Eiger and Mönch  can easily be seen from the town center. 

Interlaken is also popular for its outdoor recreation. Visitors come around for mountain paragliding, canyon jumping, and hiking, as well as for Interlaken's many spas and wellness centers. It belongs to the German -speaking region of Switzerland. 

Harder Kulm 

The highest point in Interlaken. From the viewing platform at 1,322 metres above sea level,  graciously look down upon Lake Brienz and Lake Thun, or admire the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau.

Lake Brienz and Lake Thun

Lake Brienz and Lake Thun welcome visitors with  vistas of  turquoise lake, surrounded by majestic  mountains, craggy cliffs and waterfalls. Brienz, this lake side city is renowned as a centre of excellence for woodcarving in Switzerland. 

Jungfrau region

The three famous peaks of the Jungfrau region, Jungfrau, Mönch and Eiger are long-time favorites for skiers and climbers. Along with the region's steep green pastures , alpine nature and idyllic little alpine villages, have made it a popular tourist region for more than a century. Jungfrau region is a "must see" in Switzerland. The landscape has also been awarded the status of a UNESCO World Heritage site.

In the Jungfrau ski region,  snow lovers can enjoy activities of all type. The winter paradise with the backdrop of Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau offers skiers and snowboarders everything their hearts desire, gentle slopes, steep drops, snow and fun parks. Furthermore, the region is a real paradise for tobogganing. Amongst them is the longest toboggan run in the Alps.

Some of the popular resorts in the Jungfrau region are Wengen, Mürren , Gimmelwald , Grindelwald and Lauterbrunnen.

Jungfraujoch Top of Europe

The traditional route to Jungfraujoch is by the century-old scenic cogwheel train, ascend to the famous Jungfraujoch, Europe’s highest railway station, 3,454 meters. The route is loved for its captivating alpine scenery.

In Jungfraujoch , explore the frozen witchery of the Ice Palace and marvel at the splintering peaks of the Glacier and then ride the elevator to the Sphinx Observatory for incredible panoramas of the frozen Alpine wonderland below.

Eiger Express

From 5 December 2020, the new Eiger Express tricable aerial cableway will take you from the Grindelwald terminal to the Eiger Glacier station in just 15 minutes. More time for you to experience the majestic backdrop and enjoy the attractions.
